Auditioning for Intensives

Most of these intensives require an audition in order to be accepted and placed in the appropriate level within the intensive. But in most cases, you don’t have to travel to the hosting company or school in order to audition. The majority of these programs have an “audition tour” where instructors or artistic directors travel to a city near you to select the top dancers in each region.

The good news?

Less travel for you.

The bad news?

You still incur an audition fee and are forced to audition multiple times to be selected into the best programs.

The exception to this?

Joffrey Ballet School. Because we offer a single audition tour for all of our intensives and locations, you save time, money and still have the best opportunity to audition for and attend a world-class program in the discipline and location you choose. It’s a win-win!
